Koen de Ruiter

Lighting Technician

I started in this industry when I was 12 years old, at the start of middle school. Five years later, I was the head of the AV club there, and coordinated musicals, dance shows, and discos. From there, I started working in multiple places as a lighting technician.

I am proficient with Avolites consoles and a quick learner on other consoles.

Charme

Project showcase

Charme is a camping full of creative people in the center of France. Every summer, people from all over the Netherlands gather there to make amazing art in the disciplines like dance, theater and painting.

I work at Charme as part of the Technische Dienst (Technical Team), and we are responsible for making the performances (which are partly in the middle of the forest at night) look as good as possible. We don't have that much lighting equipment, but that's the fun part. Less is more.

The map doesn't include Charme as a pin. Nevertheless, I wanted to include it in this list.
